The Yamaha receiver is great. I am disappointed that it did not come with an owners' manual or a guarantee registration form. It was an open box item but high on the recommendation list.

I bought this to replace a Yamaha receiver which was beginning to lose volume (after 20 years). I run a Grace Link and a CD player through it. It is easy to set up with RCA cables. Although it expressly says not to, I run 6 ohm Pioneer speakers without any obvious problems. FM radio reception is good. Overall, I'm very pleased. Buyer beware: this is a solid piece of engineering and weighs a lot; it's not something you can just randomly throw on a bookshelf.
