Easy to setup, connections are ok would rather have the connections you just push in and it catches the wire for the speakers, insted of having to loosen and wrap the wire around the terninal then tighten down the screw head. The system has enough power to give good sound it also has different srttings gor the type of sound you wish to have. Sound like hall, movie,music ect.

It looks unbeliavably good too! I am powering a polk elite system with this and wow the sound is so crisp and clean and powerful. I have two ES20’s powered by 2 channels, a single channel for the center and the remaining 2 channels used in a bi-amp wiring configuration powering a single ES60. There are also two subwoofer pre-amp outputs one of which im runnkng to a Klipsch 10”. No regrets here at all. This receiver does not break a sweat and im using it primarily as a stereo recoeber and not for home theater.

Easy setup and great sound. Wifi and bluetooth are easy and work well. Very happy with purchase. Great balance between features, option and price point.

What a great buy. Far out performs my previous Sony receiver. Really appreciate how well it handles the multiple HDMI devices and am a big fan of it displaying the settings menus on my TV. That makes setting up sound preferences easy from normal viewing and hearing distances. Remote work well with it and the Scenes options makes customized settings for different devices or entertainment a blessing.

So far so good, HDMI 2.1 and eARC enables the receiver to stream 'losssless' FLAC audio. This can't do Dolby Atmos or simulated Atmos, but I don't care. Setup was pretty easy. I bought this as an open-box unit, and the remote control was missing, but the BB sales rep set me up with a new one, and made it worth my while.

Penomenal AV receiver and sounds very good. Reviews saying it is hard to set up are confusing to me. I disconnected an older Yamaha AV receiver, labelled my wires, and easily connected. I recommend capitalizing upon all of the features by using HDMI connections. The balance for sound is very pleasing, when watching TV, movies, etc. I have a fussy year - am a trained musician and apreciate good steroe systems. This is a very good receiver - I am loooking next int Music Cast Speakers for other roms tofuly capitalize on the network features.

Swapped out a Denon AVR-S750H for this and could not be happier. Set up is easy. Plug your speakers in and it will work! No clunky set up screens. The Yamaha sounds better, looks better, and is easy to set up and use. Highly recommend!

The RX-V4A provides superb sound, a modern interface and all networking, WiFi, Bluetooth and Airplay capabilities. My receiver is driving 2 Klipsch RP-600M front speakers and a RP-600C center speaker connected to a Samsung 4K TV, Apple TV, iMac and wired ethernet. Outstanding classical music, vocals and jazz!

Bought this because it has a second zone to power my outdoor speakers. The MusicCast feature and app works great. Can stream to tons of services directly from the receiver so you dont need to keep your phone connected to it. The MusicCast app controls it, but nothing is streaming from your phone.

Sounds great, set up was very easy. Wireless connections were easy to establish. I put time into reseaech and it paid off... id definitely recommend this unit to anyone looking to beef up their home theater sound

One of the best receivers I’ve purchased in a long time. I purchased this product for my garage and it has not disappointed. This is my second Yamaha receiver and the sound quality has improved over the years. I purchased my first Yamaha 22 years and it is still rocking my family room.

This replaced a 12-year old Onkyo receiver. This unit was easy to set up and had inputs for everything I needed. The sound is good to me. Spotify through MusicCast is super easy. For this price I'm just missing a 2nd zone.

this was my first time purchasing in this price range. I was very pleased with the operation of everything on eARC. pretty seamless. i returned this because i wanted to try the Atmos features of my speakers. this does not support that function, that i could find anyway. It’s still a great starting point.

Love the sound of this unit. Setup is a pain as the manual is not very good. But is sounds great when setup. Its driving my Polk audio speakers with a velodyne subwoofer. Very clear sound and surprising about of power for the price. Loses a star for the setup/manual.
