    Great receiver for the money, especially if using musiccast. it does lack dolby atmos, hence the good price.

    This Yamaha receiver was purchased to replace an 18 YO Yamaha receiver that was part of our AV system in the family room. The new receiver is coupled with a Sony TV. They work wonderfully together. We are using one remote, instead of two.

    Great receiver, it needs everything I need it to do and more. Mine was an open box buy and didn’t have a manual so I had to figure out the setup myself.

    I have no complaints about this unit. Once installed it does exactly what I expected. Good sound, the rear surround catches me off guard at times. Very clear sound. Nice looking unit.

    Good sound, when it works. So many problems with the HDMI connections. Now it has me looking for another receiver. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this model. Not worth the headache.

    So far I really enjoy this. Yamaha relievers have their own sound and I think it is great! I replaced a Denon 3312 and although there are not as many features this is way easier to adjust and I like it much better.

    Best bang for your buck if you looking for a 5.1. It was challenging to set up but with time I got it just right. Produces good power and sounds great.

    Great receiver, but I upgraded to the same but 6A so I could bi-amp my fronts wo loosing my rear surrounds. I have had Yamaha (675) for years.
