Using for 5.1 and sounds great and easy to set up.

Purchased this unit to replace an aged Yahama unit and so far it has been excellent! I like the Bluetooth to my phone feature really well & the Bluetooth to my headphones so I can watch TV in the Bedroom without disturbing my wife!

This receiver is awesome. The sound is perfect, it's easy to setup and use. Highly recommend.

This is a reasonably priced stereo receiver with Airplay that allows me to stream online radio stations from my Apple computer in one room to far better speakers in another room. No user manual included and remote is not entirely obvious but otherwise a good choice.

This was an awesome purchase. If you already have 5.1 or 7.1 speakers (decent quality) this may be the purchase for you. I have Klipsh speakers and didn't want to upgrade them because they are small and have excellent sound. This receiver was the perfect upgrade. The 4k works great and solved some of my sound sync issues. Highly recommend this for the savy consumer.

Easy to use right out of the box. Very good quality. Have always been a fan of Yamaha audio!

Paired well with an in-ceiling 5.1 setup we had installed with our loft. Sound is great and haven't run into any hiccups with our new Chromecast with Google TV. Also appreciate that it auto updates the firmware when connected to wifi. So far so good with this one

Worked out of the box, easy to connect to your network and control with your phone. (the app connect button is on the bottom right of the front panel, I missed it the first 10 minutes I was looking for it. ) Yamaha seems to make a reliable product, this is my third yamaha receiver. The first model I purchased lasted 10 years of being left on 24x7 in my living room.

Love the fact it’s also Bluetooth compatible for speakers and you can use your cellphone to operate. The power it produces is great. I have a 12” sub and every thing is perfect

This receiver has been a source of frustration from me. In all my years have I never used such a buggy AV device, with missing features a year later. Its saving grace is that Yamaha has been updating the firmware regularly, but I reckon I won't be able to use my TVs VRR feature for another year at this rate. What is there now works great for the most part, but what is missing is taking a long time to make it. I still recommend this receiver for the average home cinema set up (at a reduced price), but I'm also worried some promised features might never make it.
