Q: Does this light require a Ring bridge or have to use the Ring app?
A: You have to buy the special light bridge just for the lights but once you buy that it works with the ring app. It has to be the ring light bridge you buy. Then you can add as many lights as you want.
Q: Can I use without the bridge?
A: Yes, without the bridge they act as motion sensor step lights that do not notify you when the lights are activated.

Q: Does this light work with dusk til dawn setting
A: Hi Bookie. Yes, but the Dusk to Dawn Light Schedule requires a Ring Bridge in order to set it up. Without a Ring Bridge, your Smart Lighting Steplight will function as a motion-activated light.
