A captivating experience
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a 40-inch Roku TV, and I must say, it has completely transformed the way I enjoy my favorite shows and movies. This remarkable television ticks all the boxes when it comes to performance, convenience, and value for money. Allow me to share why this Roku TV has left me absolutely raving with delight. First and foremost, the picture quality on this 40-inch display is nothing short of stunning. The vibrant colors, sharp details, and impressive contrast bring every scene to life, creating an immersive visual experience that's hard to beat. Whether I'm watching a thrilling action movie or a scenic nature documentary, the Roku TV delivers exceptional clarity and realism, making me feel like I'm right in the middle of the action. Equally impressive is the sound quality of this TV. Despite its compact size, the built-in speakers produce clear, well-balanced audio that fills the room. Dialogues are crisp and intelligible, while the soundstage adds depth and dimension to my viewing experience. Of course, if you're an audiophile or prefer a more theater-like experience, you can always connect external speakers or a soundbar for enhanced audio immersion. Now, let's talk about the Roku platform. The integration of Roku into this TV is a game-changer. The user interface is incredibly intuitive and user-friendly, making it a breeze to navigate through the extensive library of streaming services and apps. With just a few clicks, I can access popular streaming platforms like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and many more, ensuring I never miss out on the latest shows or movies. Additionally, the Roku Channel provides a wide range of free and ad-supported content, giving me even more options to explore without breaking the bank. Setting up the Roku TV was a breeze as well. Thanks to the simple on-screen instructions, I was able to connect to my Wi-Fi network effortlessly and link my existing streaming accounts seamlessly. The inclusion of multiple HDMI ports and USB inputs also makes it easy to connect gaming consoles, Blu-ray players, or other devices, ensuring I have all my entertainment needs covered. Lastly, the affordability of this 40-inch Roku TV is truly remarkable. Considering the exceptional picture quality, built-in smart features, and overall performance, the price tag is incredibly competitive. It's a fantastic option for those who want a feature-packed television without burning a hole in their wallet. To sum it up, my experience with the 40-inch Roku TV has been nothing short of extraordinary. It combines outstanding picture and sound quality with a user-friendly interface, making it an ideal choice for anyone seeking a delightful and hassle-free entertainment experience. Whether you're a movie enthusiast, a binge-watcher, or a casual viewer, this Roku TV is sure to exceed your expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone in search of a reliable, feature-rich television that won't disappoint.

Great tv!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Roku TV because I did not want a huge cable bill. I certainly wasn't disappointed. It is extremely lightweight, the picture and sound are amazing and it was just the right size for me. I use the basic remote that came with the TV and purchased a pro remote, which you can use wired headphones with. I really like the voice search with the remote feature. Almost everything I have searched has come up on at least one channel. A few older movies did not. Obviously, some channels charge and others don't. When searching a movie, it shows you what channels have that movie playing and whether or not there is a charge. You have the option to add the app to your home screen, or just watch the movie and be done. I chose to take a picture on Pandora, you can see how clear it is. Most times, the pictures of artists from decades ago are not very clear, they're extremely grainy.

Great purchase!
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been very pleased with this TV's quality. Picture quality is amazing! I purchased this to replace a plasma TV that is due to die; however, since it hasn't died, I'm using it as an extra TV in another room. The picture is actually better than the plasma! It's easy to use manually or with voice remote. I've already recommended to a neighbor who has purchased one based on what I showed her. Mine was purchased on Black Friday. I'm using it with an indoor antenna and internet. I have not counted but believe I have 400-500 stations.

I love my Roku TV from Best Buy
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was given a Fire TV and i sold it to buy a Roku TV (same size about same price) and here's why: Roku UI is so easy to use!! Roku organizes your shows for you, and it's just super easy to use. I have ADHD, so I don't need a bunch of pretty distractions, i need something easy to use and something i enjoy using. That is my Roku. Both TVs in house are Roku. The voice remote is a must have though. Gotta have the voice remote. I love my Roku TV from Best Buy!!

Great TV for the price.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As far as the television goes the os is awesome. Now the only thing I had a problem with is the legs that came with the TV. I among many other people including my neighbor have had major problems with the TV stand legs. I know this is a "Budget friendly TV" , but along with the legs should come screws that fit. I ended up bringing the TV back to Best buy they gave me a new set of legs. Once again the legs were of no use because they wouldn't screw in no matter what. I ended up contacting Roku which is not easy at all.!! First I had to find and join their community online, then I had to comment on the TV I purchased and wait 48 hrs. For them to reply and give me a phone number and email address. The email didn't work btw. I ended up calling them and staying on hold for about 45 minutes first then to tell me that they had to escalate the issue to another unit, and that they would call me back within 24 hours. I asked them for the phone number to where I can reach this unit, they told me they didn't have the information about that. My obvious question was... okay than how do you reach them yourself.? They ignored that question to the fullest. Oh and it took about 4-5 days before anyone called me back. When they finally did call me back they said they would send me another pair of legs. Which I still have not received, and it's been a little over a month now. They sent me an email saying they are sending me these same legs that don't fit,but they can't tell me the exact date they would be sending them. Anyway I ended up spending another 40.00 on a vesa TV stand due to the fact I had this TV with legs that don't work no matter where I buy or get them from. Point in case let's just say their customer service IS NOT the best. Anyway on the better side, the TV does boost a great sound quality especially without a sound-bar. The only problem I did have besides the legs was the colouring. Some of the blacks look grey, but I found a great fix for that. You just have to change the picture setting a little bit. As I already stated the TVs OS is fast and has almost every app you can ask for. Great TV for the price. Love that you can use the remote to talk, it's nice not to have to always use that awful keyboard.

Q: QuestionIs the remote difficult to navigate when watching over-the-air channels? I don't quite understand how a roku remote would work with watching regular tv. Is there a sleep timer feature on it?
Asked by Mavis.
- A:Answer The Roku remote can easily navigate over-the-air channels by simply pressing the Up or Down arrow buttons to change the channel. Alternatively, you can press the Left Arrow button while watching Live TV to open the program channel guide, then scroll through the guide to see what's on each channel. Note: Use the Up or Down arrow keys to scroll through the guide one channel at a time, or use the Double Arrow keys to scroll through the guide rapidly. Once you locate the channel you would like to watch, press the OK button to switch to that channel. To switch back to the previous channel, press the Instant Replay button. To turn the program guide off, press the Return button. The program guide allows you to view current airing programs as well as future airing programs, and you can filter the channels that the guide displays by moving the cursor to the far left, then selecting one of the following categories: All Channels, Recommended, Favorites, Recents, News, Sports, Entertainment, Music, Kids & Family, Movies, Reality, Crime, Game Shows, Comedy, or En Espanol. There is a third way the Roku remote can navigate over-the-air channels... simply press the Voice button, holding it down, while speaking a command into the remote. For example you can say: "2.1" "channel 33.1" " open the Roku channel" " launch Hulu" " Disney Plus" " play Live TV" " open the channel guide" " find comedies" etc. Regarding your second question... The Roku remote allows you to access the Sleep Timer feature. Press the * button, then select Sleep Timer, then the desired time. Alternatively, press the Voice button, holding it down, and say: "turn off TV in 10 minutes" or "turn off TV in 1 hour" or "turn Sleep Timer off"

Q: QuestionIs the remote IR or RF?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Hello! The included Voice Remote is powered by RF technology. This means your remote does not need to be pointed directly at your TV when pressing buttons, unlike the IR remote. Happy Streaming!

Q: QuestionDoes it include the "YouTube" channel?
Asked by Mari.
- A:Answer Absolutely! You'll be able to download YouTube and thousands of other channels to watch all of your favorite videos. You can browse through all of the available channels on our website under the Channel Store tab. Happy Streaming!
