Synopsis

Rush Hour 3
In this third installment of the popular action comedy franchise, LAPD Detective James Carter (Chris Tucker) and Chief Inspector Lee (Jackie Chan) book a flight for Europe and prepare to clean up the streets of Paris after discovering that Chinese triads have extended their criminal influence to the City of Lights. Chinese Ambassador Han (Tzi Ma) is in Los Angeles and about to reveal the details of a clandestine triad conspiracy to the World Criminal Court when an assassin takes aim and pulls the trigger. Though Carter has been demoted to directing traffic at the time of the shooting, Lee is acting as a bodyguard to Han when the bullets begin to fly. Lee quickly gives chase, but hesitates when he realizes that the gunman is Kenji (Hiroyuki Sanada), his old friend from the orphanage. When triads steal an envelope containing vital information regarding the conspiracy from Soo Yung's (Zhang Jingchu) Chinatown kung fu studio, Carter and Chief Inspector Lee race to reach Genevieve (Noémie Lenoir), an underground entertainer who could prove the key to bagging the bad guys. During the course of their investigation, however, triads clash with the French police, threatening to turn the romance capitol of Europe into an explosive hotbed of crime and violence. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Chan and Tucker never cease to entertain

the movie is fun and funny, these guys never cease to entertain. Lee and Carter together again. The fun never stops. Fists, knives, gun fights, and one liners slinging their way at you. If you like the Rush Hour movies, and you own a BD player (I own a Sony PlayStation 3 80gig,) and a compatible 1080p TV, then you will surely see the massive differences between regular dvd's and the BD format. Personally I was apprehensive to either the HD or the Blu-Ray formats, until there was more of a "standard." If you already own a copy in the regular WS or FS format, and want to get the BD format, but not certain about it, borrow a BD copy from a friend, and watch the same movie side by side comparison, and you would agree, the BD movie is clearer, and more immersing. All in all the Rush Hour franchise has taken Chan and Tucker on yet another fun filled adventure.

ok, let me get the rest of the cons out of the way. the action is a little bit lacking. jackie is older and can't quite maintain doing his own stunts. there are some in the movie that are pretty good but could've been better if they used a double. the ending was a little bit disapointing. the pros are everything else. the plot is decent, the comedy is solid, and it keeps you entertained. between the movie itself and the extra features it's hard to say whether it's actually worth the price listed right now. but, with jackie and chris this 3rd movie is worth seeing.

This movie does not have the feel of any of the previous rush hours, the movie feels rushed. The plot makes no sense how Lee and Carter got together on another case and some of the acting is laughable. This movie is not funny, has silly action scenes, and is a pathetic attempt at matching the second installment (which was my favorite). In the second one the story behind the Detective Lee does not match up with the story in the third one. This movie is garbage and I was hurt by it because I love the second one.

Rush Hour 3 is a great combination of action and comedy. Chris Tucker is the funniest actor in the whole movie and if it weren't for him this movie would have almost no humor. The fight scenes with Jackie Chan are excellent and they are filmed without so many different camera angles and very little editing which gives you a great view of the action. This movie is perfect if you're looking for action or comedy.

Yep they are back for third installment, and hopefully the last of the Rush Hour movies. It took a big check just for Chris Tucker to just sign on for this flick and Jackis Chan is getting old. The movie is just ok, maybe because it took too long to make and when they started it seem like they rushed this flick. If you like the first two, you might like it, but no gurantees

I held off on buying this movie for a very long time because for some reason I remember this movie being horrible. However, I wanted to complete my Rush Hour Collection and revisited this movie. The second time around it was not that bad. It not as good as parts 1 & 2 but still a decent movie worth adding to your collection.

Some of the situations Jackie and Chris were in were very simular to the last movie but, I still liked this one. I did buy this dvd and do not regret my investment in these two guys. I got what I expected from the movie, laughs and awesome martial arts scenes.

Now I am a huge Jackie Chan fan and the combo with Chris Tucker is great however even their chemistry was not believable in this Rush Hour. The story line was pretty weak although the action scenes are fantastic I am glad I rented this and didn't buy it.
