So far (one month in), I absolutely LOVE my new Samsung Showcase refrigerator. I researched for months on what counter depth model to buy that (1) wouldn't clash with the Whirlpool appliances that came standard in the new condo, (2) didn't hit the wall that comes out 3 inches past the 24-inch counter on the other side and (3) wasn't a French door model (too many bad reviews about bending down to access freezer). This unit met all those requirements! If fits perfect in the space, and is the ideal size for my family of two. Just enough refrigerator and freezer space. May be a bit small for a larger family or those that buy/store a lot of food. For us, it's perfect. Only reason giving 4 stars and not 5, is because it's only been a month...and I want to ensure that there are no problems with the unit. With time, it will become a 5!

This Samsung Showcase refrigerator is beautiful. I knew I wanted a counter depth because of space limitations and I couldn't be happier with my choice. It's a great fit. I haven't had it long, but I'm loving it so far. It's taken some rearranging to figure out what is most useful in the showcase door. But it holds so much there are lots of options and it leaves plenty of space in the interior. The slide in/fold up shelf is very useful for being able to fit taller items in. I've had no problem fitting all I need into it. It will fit a medium pizza box, not a large. No problem for me since I usually wrap leftovers anyway. Food stays cold in the showcase section. Since this is my first side by side, the freezer takes a bit to get used to. I have plenty of space, way more than my old top freezer had especially since I no longer have to use space for ice trays. I am just getting used to having items in the doors, in bins and shelves. Not a problem for sure, just different. I will add that I have a chest freezer as I shop at Sams Club, but as I said this freezer is larger than my top freezer was. So if freezer space is a problem, you might want to get an in person look to see if it will work for you. Also since this is my first side by side, it's the first time I've had an in door ice and water dispenser and I absolutely love it. I followed the directions to flush the water and toss the first couple buckets of ice. I did have a small leak in the water dispenser at first, but after checking online, I found that it was caused by air still in the waterline. Flushing out more water solved the problem, no leak since. The fingerprint resistance is real. I use a microfiber cloth to wipe it down when I notice anything left behind and it's a so easy to clean. I was disappointed to find out from Samsung that the description on Best Buy is incorrect about the magnetic finish. After my magnetic photo would not stick I contacted Samsung about it. They say it is not magnetic and the description here is wrong. Minor issue. It is expensive, but a better value if you can catch it on sale. I did buy the Geek Squad warranty for peace of mind in case I run into any of the problems other buyers have. Hopefully, I won't need it.

Our family has really enjoyed having the new fridge. It has a nice clean line to it and doesn't have handles that stick out and take up space. It also has a very convienant showcase door that allows kids, and adults, to get drinks out quickly without having to open the entire fridge. We are very pleased with our purchase so far. We have owned it for about 4 weeks and have had a house full of 7 people and multiple parties and it's been the center of many conversations!

I purchased this counter depth showcase for my new home. The showcase really does keep the milk cold; keeping all my frequently used items there reduces the amount of cold that escapes each time I open the door. The crushed ice in the door is nice- though it is loud. Downsides, it actually sits out from the counter because it needs space behind the unit for Best Buy's very long, required water hose. The new smell ruined the taste of my food for over a month. Baking soda and wet newspaper were not enough - it got better when I left opened containers of food scraps to absorb the smell.

Great appliance! Style is sleek yet practical. Has the "cool factor" with the showcase door. Great choice for those with limited room.

My wife and I love this refrigerators design, appearance and performance and to top it all off, it's a Samsung product .

i read negative reviews on this item but i haven't experienced any problems yet. My purchase was 4/14. i followed the directions of the installer to discard the first 2 gallons of water from the water dispenser and the first 2 full set of ice. the results were no leaks from the dispenser and no loud noise from the refrigerator. i like my fridge and it looks nice with the other samsung appliances in my kitchen

We took a look at the reviews before purchasing and decided to go with this fridge. It replaced a Bosch side by side that had a compressor issue out of the warranty period. We decided to try another brand. And we are so happy we did. First of all, the stainless on this fridge is amazing. I've had it for over a month now and I have yet to need to polish it. It shows no prints. The showcase door is good. I keep things that I use a lot on the door. I'm still trying to get used to it! I love the fact that the handles are built into the door, very sleek and good for our kitchen layout. The ice maker can be a little loud when dropping cubes, but not enough to change my mind about the fridge. So all in all, a good buy. We got it at a great price and the next week it was on sale for $100 less and Best Buy was great in refunding the difference.
