Q: I have read that this model is noisey..I like this unit a lot, but can not have noise in my home. Please let me know? thank you

A: Mine is absolutely quiet. Only noise was first day when new ice cubes were filling the empty unit. No noise since.

Q: How do I know if finish is smudge proof?

A: The RF23HCEDBSR has a real stainless steel finish that is not fingerprint or smudgeproof. There are, however, a number of products available specifically designed to clean real stainless steel. Simply follow the instructions on the package. Another option is to apply a small amount of baby oil to the stainless finish using a clean, dry, lint-free cloth. Q: Display panel

A: It sounds like your fridge is in Demo mode. Try pressing and holding the top 2 left buttons (Freezer and Alarm) for about 5 seconds until you hear a chime and it no longer says "OFF"

Q: How do you remove the ice bucket in this model?

A: Pull UP and OUT on ice bin front...it will slide out. Kinda funky with no where to grab. Didn't want to stick my fingers in the grinding exit hole. Just grab hold of the whole face.

Q: Does the 22.5 Cu. Ft measurement take into account the lost space due to the ice maker and thru-the door apparatus?

A: Hi Mike, The capacity of the RF23HCEDBSR is determined per Energy Star's measurement standards which, as of last September, are based on actual usable space without the ice maker. The ice chute would also not be included in "usable space". Thanks for your interest, Ms. Samsung

Q: IS THERE AN ICEMAKER IN BOTTOM DRAWER AS WELL?

A: No icemaker in the freezer at the bottom - only up top

Q: Why will samsung refuse to acknowledge the severely flawed icemaker design? Fails like clockwork 1 to 3 months after warranty expires and repair will last for 1 month at best. Will constantly leak water out the front and down the door. DO NOT BUY
