There are small places to out your hands to open the door at the top of the door, and bottom of the door for shorter people. The frig is exactly 29 1/2 inches deep. I hope this helps…

Very spacious fridge with lots of ice!
I had to replace my 2023 Samsung side-by-side fridge after it unexpectedly failed. Fortunately, it was still under warranty through Geek Squad, so the replacement process was smooth. I chose this new model primarily for its dual ice makers—our household goes through a lot of ice! So far, I’m genuinely impressed with the fridge’s design and functionality. The bottom freezer offers significantly more usable space compared to a side-by-side layout—it feels like a major upgrade. The dual ice maker is a game changer: we love having the option between larger cubes for keeping drinks cold and smaller ice bites, which are perfect for cocktails, mixed drinks, or just snacking. My previous fridge worked fine until it gave out, but this one truly outperforms it. The only feature it lacks is a built-in water dispenser, which would’ve been nice. That said, it’s not a deal breaker for me since I already use an osmosis filtration system.
