Coolest Refrigerator in the Market!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This refrigerator is the coolest refrigerator you can currently purchase in todays market, the fact that you can listen to Pandora while you're cooking or answer a phone call right from the refrigerator itself, is pretty cool. Another cool feature that I like is the Epicurous application that gives you different recipe ideas and the Google Note Pad so that you can leave personalized message to your loved ones. No more magnets holding up pictures on your refrigerator doors, the LCD display will do a slideshow of the pictures that you uploaded to its internal memory. Let's not forget that you can stream Live TV broadcasting directly to your refrigerator from a Samsung Smart TV or video from your android phone. (Wish it had the same capabilities for an iPhone) Either way, Hands down - this is the Smartest Refrigerator out there.

Called Samsung and it is not their problem to fix. It is nice listening to Pandora while cooking or doing the dishes. This fridge makes me keep up with news a lot more than before. You cannot avoid reading about a catastrophe on your fridge. With the weather app, picking my clothes for the day is a breeze. It is usually 96% accurate. My wine stays nice and cold, but not many places to store your favorite adult beverages in tall bottles. My advice, drink the whole bottle while cooking so you do not have to worry about finding a place to put it. :) Vegetables and fruits seem to last longer when being in the middle drawer. The ice is not "sonic ice" and sometimes comes out a mixture of crushed and cubed. The only reason the fridge is getting 4 out of 5 stars is because I was looking forward to the Epicurious. I am very disappointed it does not work.

I love it that it lets me know on my phone when the fridge is not fully shut, can listen to pandora and if I had the patience I could hook to my cable Tv but I watch enough tv already.

Open box defect

But the real item had a missing part on the power cord and one sealing rubber piece on one side of the door was missing, so I made the decision to return the item without it going inside my house.

- A:Answer We also had an existing thru-the-door ice and water dispenser and purchased this refrigerator to upgrade. You do not need a new line. The delivery men easily connected the new line from the refrigerator to our existing water line.

- A:Answer I'm sorry to hear you're having an issue with the Kitchen TV feature on your RF28HMELBSR. It's important that the Samsung TV is a compatible model and is connected to the same WiFi network as the refrigerator. If you've followed the step by step instructions on pages 53-54 of the manual, as well as the troubleshooting tips on page 110 and are still unable to connect, I would suggest calling 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you. Please note that some TVs have a limit to the number of devices they can connect to, so you may need to check the TV manual to determine whether the TV's device capacity has been met. - A:Answer Check the manual however they sell them at most places that carry Samsung refrigerators. You just twist the filter and remove it and to install the new one, just insert and turn to tighten.

Q: QuestionThe LCD screen is unresponsiveI got the fridge and plugged it in yesterday. It was working fine for about an hour but after the weatherbug app updated the screen now asks for the city to be updated but its completely unresponsive. The screensaver will come up and will switch back to the main screen when any door/drawers open but stays on the update city from the weatherbug app. Don't know if its related or not but the cool drawer between fridge and freezer also doesn't cycle between the different temp zones

- A:Answer The day I got mine, the wi-fi worked good for any hour then froze. I called Samsung and they had no clue. I unplugged the fridge, disconnected the wifi and started over and it's worked fine since.

Q: Questionour new samsung french 4 door refrigerator shows a hinged glass shelf at the very top o f the refrigerator . that hinge seems to go up only a an inchcan that hinged shelf go all the way up to the side of the refrigerator?

- A:Answer Thanks for the question. I'm not sure if you're referring to the flip-up shelf next to the ice maker in your RF28HMELBSR or the retractable shelf that can be removed entirely or moved to other locations. The flip-up shelf which is attached to the side of the ice maker with a hinge should be able to flip up to the left so it's completely vertical. The front half of the retractable shelf can be pushed back so the shelf is about half of its full depth, but it can't flip up to be completely out of the way. - Ms. Samsung
