    Not the best sound bar purchase I have made. I have a New 4k Samsung 65" TV, and thought this would be a great addition. I was wrong. The sound doesn't even compare to the other Samsung Sound bar I have (the one with a separate blue tooth woofer for the base), and that sound bar was less expensive. I set the sound bar to the TV using the blue tooth feature. Half the time, when I turn on the TV it won't connect, and I have to spend 10 minutes trying to go through the TV menu trying to reconnect the blue tooth. I tried the optical connection, but again, the sound bar won't come on when the TV does, and I have to go through the TV menu to try and get it to work. When it does work, the sound is kind of, meh, so so. I would recommend a cheaper Samsung sound bar with a separate woofer. I have never had a problem with that one, and I have had it for 3 years now.

    I finally decided to replace my old 52 DLP rear projection TV with a new a Samsung - 55" Class - LED - Curved - MU8500 Series - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR. I purchased the Samsung - 3-Channel Hi-Res Curved Soundbar with Built-in Subwoofer to pair with my TV investment. I was a little concerned about the prospect of setting up these new pieces of tech. However, the set-up was a breeze and I quickly had everything connected, updated, and synced. The one-connect for peripheral devices and the ARC connection for the soundbar could not have been easier. The sleek lines of the curved soundbar pair nicely with my curved UHDTV. Overall, the sound is quite good. However, the subwoofer is somewhat underwhelming. I was well aware of this fact going into my purchase, and opted for an all-in-one soundbar for the ease of use and lack of need for window rattling bass. As such, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

    Samsung normally has very good products, but between the overpriced tv or this sound bar, it was a fail. The speaker consistently has an issue connecting with the TV. So I need to set it up manually every time I turn the TV on. The bar will make popping noises as if the speaker has blown even though the sound is not higher than 30 (which to me is a high number and the sound isn't producing the way I thought it would)or be connected to and not produce sound. It becomes very frustrating. I honestly could have just dealt with the TV speakers. I tried troubleshooting a few times with the online helpdesk and yeap you got it, the magic unplug and plug it up speech. That should not be the issue to enjoy the product I purchased. Disappointed overall with this purchase, but I will say when everything is working it's fairly nice.

    I have 4 SAMSUNG curved TV's, but I got this one for my 75 inch TV that just does have enough sound to fill the room, so I decided to add this. I paid extra to get a digital cable since I read that is the best way to set up with Samsung TV. MY BIGGEST issue with the product is that as great as it is that your volume for your TV and Sound Bar can be controlled both at the same time with one remote wether its the Samsung remote, Xfinity remote or universal remotes the issue is the sound delay that is extremely hard to get rid off I even had a Samsung tech come out, but he couldn't fix it. So since the soundbar has better HD sound I have to manually turn the volume on the TV ALL the WAY DOWN to only hear from the SoundBar. I truly believe Samsung can fix this issue easily yet no developments yet

      Please know that the soundbar would be able to be controlled with your TV remote if:
      a) It is connected to the TV via HDMI ARC or
      b) It is connected wirelessly to the TV via Bluetooth

      However, neither of these solutions is possible if you are trying to connect it to TV's that do not have Bluetooth option or HDMI via ARC.

    So Disappointed!

    As a loyal Samsung customer, I'm always looking for the next best thing from Samsung. Although I didn't need to get a new soundbar, I saw the specs and thought, ok cool. I was soooo disappointed! The built-in subwoofer DOES NOT emit any bass sound what-so-ever. The mids and highs are good but that's where it ends. I have computer speakers that produce better bass levels. I even bought the SWA-W700 separate subwoofer as an addition. Double disappointment. Didn't enhance any bass sounds. I also had sound issues pairing them with my radiant360 R5 speakers. The concept of the built-in subwoofer is great but Samsung didn't deliver. Samsung should pair the soundbar+ with it's own wireless subwoofer. This soundbar went back.

    Not what my Samsung TV wanted

    After my purchase of my TV in 12/15 I wanted more sound. I looked at other bars but not happy with what was around. This soundbar was new, so there were no reviews, but I took a chance. When this soundbar came out, it looked like what I wanted. Bought it, set it up, its was OK. Depending with what was on TV, I liked it, though my ears wanted more. It sat in front of the TV, front of the stand. It was tall, blocking what was on the bottom of the screen. I went out and bought the Bose sound touch 300, the day before the return date of this Samsung bar. I hooked up the Bose and within the first 5 minutes of play, the Samsung soundbar was packed up and taken back the next day. If you can afford the purchase price of the BOSE you will NOT regret it.

    I was skeptical about how the built-in sub would sound, as most soundbars I was considering had standalone subwoofers. Doesn't matter at all, it sounds great! Switching between optical/hdmi input and bluetooth was a breeze - very easy to sync bluetooth to new devices. The only thing that I don't love about this is the size. It is a bit too deep (which the curve doesn't help with) and it's very heavy. I absolutely recommend this, as long as you have a good place to put it.

    overall, its just a basic soundbar and not worth what I paid...nothing special. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone without telling them of the issues....the major one to me is that the sound for the tv doesn't turn off when the soundbar comes on......quite often there is a sound echo. I will say it sounds OK but nothing to get excited over. The only good thing I'd say is that it matches the curve of the TV as it should
