So Happy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Seeing art on my wall makes me happy everyday. We were concerned after some reviews that in our dim living room, the auto settings would be too bright, but we were pleasantly surprised to find out adaptable it is. With some paintings it really is questionable whether or not it's a TV. In my pictures the TV looks brighter than it appears in person. We love that we don't just have a blank black TV screen above our beautiful fireplace. Getting set up was easy and while the mounting took some time, it looks great. Couldn't be happier.

Samsung 50" frame TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Had my suspicions about buying this tv cuz it's samsung.... But, turns out it's a really good set. Had some issues with the remote unpairing itself but did some research and turns out it is a common problem and there was a solution online for doing a hard reset and then repairing the remote to the tv. Other than, that this tv has performed above expectations. The only flaw is it uses the samsung app store which doesn't have any of the smaller applications that the Google play store has. This tv also came with the no gap wall mount which saved me countless dollars on buying one. I would recommend this machine to anyone looking for a 49"/50" set.

Highly recommend
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This is the perfect TV if you don’t like the look of TVs. I hate a black hole in the wall. Definitely didn’t want in my recently renovated space. This is the PERFECT product. I’ve had people completely confused when realizing it’s a TV :) Works as it should, connects easily. The box that it comes with can be put in cabinet and no problem with remote working. Amazing product.

Stunning Niche Artwerk & TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. If you are considering this product, you know it’s not for everyone. But if the premise excites you (like it did me), you will likely be totally delighted by this gem. I added the contrasty white bezel, mounted on a mantle-less brick fireplace wall (above a contemporary matte black framed gas “log”). Although I personally don’t favor display of the famous reproductions, the tv and the Art Store offer some superb contemporary paintings, and compelling photographs. The many “mat” options including a shadow box effect create a dazzling effect. With the television hardware updates in 2019, it’s a smokin’ beauty and complete smile-bringer. Yep, some need-to-to-be-improved art mode features and parts support leave the Frame imperfect. But on balance, it’s a triumph and total keeper. Run don’t walk at near half-off pricing.

Our high expectations on Frame TV were exceeded
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.I had high expectations for the Samsung Frame TV I purchased from Best Buy. The high expectations were partly due to my discussions with Best Buy sales personnel at the South Point, Durham, NC Store. Based upon my conversations with them, this seemed to be the TV I would find most suitable. In short, for those of us who find Netflix, Hulu and so on okay for a few hours a week, but noisy the rest of the time, this is a great product. It is a focus of my living room. Instead of an empty, black rectangle, I now have a series of classical art, modern art, and nature photographs on; the TV has been on about 40 hours per week since I bought it. I have read some negative reviews of this by others, but simply find them without merit. It's truly "a TV for the rest of us" that is also a marker for what will come forward in the future.

Great picture. A bit overpriced.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This television is a good overall tv with a great picture and not-so-stellar looks unless you purchase the frame overlays separately. As a matter of fact, if you don’t do this, the tv itself is not as attractive as MANY of the other thinner options available – including those from Samsung. The installed software to manage the tv is beautiful and nice to look at, while easy to use. The artwork that comes with the tv out of the box is not great. Acceptable? Maybe. I’ve not yet taken the time to install my own yet. Hopefully this experience is painless. Paying for a subscription to have rotating artwork per the available offers from Samsung seems a tad bit ridiculous. If you have money to burn and are looking for a decent tv that can double as ‘artwork’, then go for it.

So much more than a TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. For years I've been wanting to upgrade our TV to something larger and better quality image. The downside is we did not want this big thing in the living room. We saw the frame and loved the idea that when it's off, it's displaying artwork or photos. Not just a big dark thing hanging on the wall. Installation is a breeze and having all of the electronics attached through a very small almost invisible cable made for a very clean installation. The fact that the hardware to mount this to the wall is included was a bonus. Very simple to install and easy to level. Very happy with this product and have recommended it to several of our friends.

Q: QuestionDoes the TV come with the frame or does that need to be purchased separately?
Asked by Bosheep.
- A:Answer Bosheep: The Frame TV does not come with a decorative bezel/frame. You can purchase the optional bezel separately. It is available in four (4) colors -- black, white, beige, brown. On BestBuy.com, please search: Samsung Frame Bezel Or visit Samsung.com: https://www.samsung.com/us/search/searchMain?listType=g&searchTerm=frame+bezel The Frame TV as purchased has a 0.6" black edge for a clean look that blends with any decor. Q: QuestionI’d like to get advice before I purchase this tv about installation. If you installed it “diy” would you mind sharing your experience? I think I can handle it, but I’d love some feedback before I decide. Thanks in advance.
Asked by Sam.
- A:Answer As long as you have a stud finder and level, this is an easy "diy" project for mounting on a wall. There is a template included to make it easier to know where to drill the holes. It took me less than 15 minutes to fasten the bracket to the back of the TV, mount the bracket piece on the wall, and hang the TV.

Q: QuestionHow does the TV plug in? is it easy to hide cable behind wall?
Asked by Kevin.
- A:Answer There is a single cable that carries both the power and hdmi input fromthe box to the TV. However, the plug is significantly bigger than a regular HDMI plug. If you are fishing it through a conduit that can be an issue.. If it is an open wall cavity then no issue.

Q: QuestionCan the control box go in a closet directly behind the TV on the other side of a drywall (wire through single drywall)?
Asked by ShermanG.
- A:Answer Yes, you can purchase a longer cable if necessary. The connector on the cable is a bit large so make sure you create a hole large enough.
