A: The short answer is yes, as long as you purchase a phone that is AT&T compatible or one that is unlocked. When you look at phones online or in the store you will notice that there are brands/models of phones associated with each carrier (T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, etc). An unlocked phone (which cost more) is a phone that is compatible with most (not all) cell service carriers. I have used AT&T for my cellular service carrier for over a decade, but usually purchase my phones through BestBuy for the same reason as you; much better pricing for the phones. BestBuy will help you set-up the phone and connect with your existing AT&T account. Or, you can purchase the phone from BestBuy and go to an AT&T store and they will set up your phone for you.
