Nifty little device
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works fine most of the time. Never had any issues with range but will sometimes need a hard reset (once every couple months). Also works great with my smart home

Great Router and easy to Set up
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The SmartThings router worked great right out of the box and it was quite easy to set up. The one negative was getting it setup with the Plume app to allow users to control the router and set parental controls, etc. It was not as intuitive as it could have been.

Messy technology that overheats and fails
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After fighting with SmartThings for three years, I just replaced it with Eero and am much happier. SmartThings is a convoluted mix of different technologies that require you to jump between two apps (SmartThings and Plume) to manage it. Also, whenever I had network problems, it almost always originated with SmartThings. Furthermore, they would periodically overheat and shut down. I finally had to buy a cooling fan for the one I had in a cabinet. One also failed completely and I had to buy a new one to replace it.

It gets the job done
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I am happy with the performance of this. I didn't for my ring and front door lock

Great features for both novice and advanced users
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Initial setup of the mesh network was a breeze and virtually plug-n-play. Use of the SmartThings hub is as simple as activating (a switch) through the SmartThings app. Advanced settings through Plume are incredibly easy to use. I would recommend this to anyone looking for mesh connectivity, both novice and advanced users!
I would recommend this to a friend - Cons mentioned:Customer service, Replacement delay

Didn't work and samsung repair sucks!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Received the item and went to set it up but the device had issues. Contacted Samsung support they said it had to be sent in. Sent it in the day after I got it which was May 20 they received it on May 21 and said 14 business and I would get a replacement. Its June 12 I messaged them since it was more than 14 days later and they said give them another week.
