A: Yes, that's what I bought it for.
A: The 25w is not compatible with the Note 8 because the Nite 8 doesn't have power delivery, it has QC 3.0 which this block also has. Will only charge at about 14w
A: It will work as a charger as long as the devices you are intending to charge have a USB-C port, you may or may not get the benefit of the Super Fast Charge depending upon the device.
