Great for getting washer height up
Though it isn't super tall, it is great for getting the washer up off the floor so you don't have to bend completely over to take clothes out of the washer. The only negative is really the price. There really is no reason that this pedestal should cost as much as it does. $100 would be a fair price for this pedestal as I'm sure it costs little nothing to make since there isn't that much metal in it. I feel it's a necessity to have with these front load washers and dryers even still to save your back from the bending.

extra storage
The only thing bad I can say is that I wish these were taller. But, the added height of these machines just doesn't allow for it. well built and the assembly is far superior to the old ones we had, they attach at the corners not from the inside.

Raises washer/dryer to more comfortable height.
With the washer and dryer resting on top of these pedestals it is much more comfortable to do laundry as it prevents you from hunching over an extra few inches. The additional storage space is nice to store other things.
