Did not work well for us
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this on Dec 19 online and finally got time to install it on Jan 20. There was a bit of a hum that got worse at volume. Also, my wife's lighters are physically located very low in her Odyssey so you could not hear her voice due to the placement. So I packaged everything back up, took my receipt and headed to Best Buy today (Jan 23) and they would not refund me or even give me store credit. So now I am out $40+ and for that I think my Best Buy purchases are going to cease.

Great sound and alternative way to stream music
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical of the fm Bluetooth product from previous experience with older similar products which I wasn't impressed with. I had found another similar product and read the reviews and bc I love bestbuy found this product read the reviews and surprisingly both reviews were positive for both products. Ultimately I have always had great experiences with bestbuy so I chose to buy the product they offered. Still skeptical especially since my vehicle doesn't have an auxiliary port and would have to rely on the signal. My vehicle has bose speakers I was stunned at the sound quality streaming through the fm Bluetooth...Exceeding way beyond my expectations. I compared playing the same song by CD and fm Bluetooth and truly could not hear any difference in quality, clarity or volume. With one exception slower tempo and beat songs sometimes can hear minimal radio static. Which can be fixed with finding another station. The only con I can mention is I live in a rural area and I drive little over an hour to work and to shop so I do have to change the station at the most 2 or 3 times for more clear streaming, which is to be expected so I dont necessarily think it is actually a con. The phone function works great as well very clear sometimes may have little static but it's very minimal, I do have to remove any objects that are in between the device microphone and me to aid in a more clear sound for the person on the receiving end. Another great component is the versatility of the device I can bend it to the most direct position to me so the microphone can relay my voice clearly. With streaming music or clarity of whom is transmitted to me from my phone the device doesn't need a direct position to my phone. Only the microphone needs to be adjusted toward me to more accurately transmit what I say more clearly. I also love a controller is included to end or answer calls move to next tract set new radio station control volume and etc. Overall I am extremely impressed and setup is very simple. Highly highly recommend this product.

Works great with lots of features
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a more advanced fm transmitter than most but if you like having extra technology in it, it’s well worth it. The Bluetooth from my iPhone to the transmitter works remarkably well. The fm transmitter works really well too on our Honda Odessey that has the antenna built into the back passenger window. The only issues are when you travel and have to change the FM station but that’s fairly easy. The other issue is if you use the Bluetooth with multiple devices you have to connect and disconnect if they are all on you at the same time. But that’s the case with any device on the market. The included USB port for charging your phone and Aux port are handy as well. The included remote also makes changing things on the device a bit easier.

Exactly what you need if you have an old car :)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a way to connect iPod to the audio in my old car, i was looking specifically for Bluetooth product. This FM transmitter works great, no brainer setup, easy to operate, good sound. I don't use it to make phone calls so I can't make comments about it.

Not the highest quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to set up and use. Sound quality is great. However, the plug that goes into the cigarette lighter broke after 30 days.

Does the job
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you don't have Bluetooth or an auxiliary in your car this does the job. The sound quality is pretty good too. On par with other Bluetooth transmitters I've tried

Q: QuestionMy phone pairs with the transmitter but it won’t play through the car radio. It is set on same station but there is only static?
Asked by Lc.
- A:Answer On the instructions is says you’re able to change the song and the volume level. If you click it once you can turn it all the way to the right and it turns the volume up. Make sure it’s not set on changing the music. I’m not even sure how mine got turned down but it did! Took me forever to figure it out.

Q: QuestionIs there any way to turn off the device without unplugging it from the AC power outlet? My van will keep it on while the vehicle is not running. I'm not seeing an option in the manual.
Asked by Charles.
- A:Answer Not sure if it helps anyone else since it's an old post, but if you rotate the device about a half turn, it'll turn off. I always turn mine to where it faces up and it turns off. When it get in, I straighten it out again and it turns on. Works every time.

Q: QuestionWhat kind of fuse goes in to the transmitter
Asked by J.
- A:Answer Mine has a fuse in the cigarette lighting receptical (? the plug for the lighter socket) and the fuse size is F2AL250V. Im in the process of putting in a new one, this one seems to have burned out because its no longer playing music audibly even though it says its connected.

Q: QuestionWhy can't I connect my phone without having to unplug and plug the Bluetooth back in? Shouldn't I be able to connect it automatically without doing that?
Asked by Scoshe.
- A:Answer I have the same issue. I called Scosch Tech Support and they said unless your 12v outlet powers off when your ignition is off, you will have to unplug the device each time you want to pair. There is no workaround. Where my plug sits in my center console, this is very inconvenient. I will probably return it, assuming I can find another device that does better. For others: If your 12 Volt outlett turns OFF when your ignition is OFF, this won't be a huge issue for you.

Asked by Anonymous.
