Safely secure your mount with the adhesive mounting pad and the StickGrip suction-cup base to almost any flat surface in your car, home, or office. The telescoping arm extends up to 8.87 inches, with 220 degrees of angle adjustment, and locks in place for the optimal viewing experience. It senses when a Qi-enabled phone is aligned over the charging surface and the mount will automatically close to securely grip and charge your phone. The Qi wireless charging is certified for safety and compatibility to provide Qi compatible devices with up to 15-Watts of fast wireless charging power (wireless charging rate varies by phone manufacturer). A thermal management channel between your phone and the charging head allows heat to disperse for cooler, safer charging. The mount is Apple and Samsung fast charge compatible.

A: No. I didn’t have any success trying to get this charger to stick on a slight curve on my dash. I didn’t use the suction cup because it hardware, including cameras, are not allowed under Washington State Law. Look it up for yourself at Washington/dot.gov. The charger sits in the box in my garage. I ordered one online and hoping it fits.
Q: How does it release the phone? The arms open with just a tug or a button? Do you need two hands?
A: When you pull a bit hard on the phone it opens, can do it with one hand.
Q: How does it stick to surface
A: Sticks to window perfectly. Does not stay when you stick to pad.
Q: Anyone have success using it with an iPhone mini? It doesn’t want to auto close around mine.

Q: Does this work with Apple CarPlay?
A: If your current radio requires you to physically connect your iPhone in order to use Apple CarPlay, you'll still be required to plug your phone in. The wireless charging feature of the MagicGrip will be disabled because wired charging will take priority. A: Mine charges through my Lifeproof Nëxt Case as well as a Frē case. I’d imagine it would work with the plate of a MagicMount. You can adjust the phone placement very easily.
A: There’s a little piece on the front bottom of the mount that you lift and then you put the mount on the other piece, flip that switch back down to create suction. Works better if the two pieces are a little wet.
