Q: Can I use this for my PlayStation 5
A: Yes, you can use it with your PS5. The only thing is that any PS5 game on the hard drive has to be transferred to the PS5 storage system for you to play the game. But any PS4 game stored on the hard drive can be played from the hard drive. That is the only drawback to the hard drive you have to transfer any PS5 games you want to play which takes time to transfer if it’s a big game. So, I store all PS5 games I’m playing at the moment on the system storage.
Q: How fast is this drive? I can't seem to find the specs on the website unless I'm blind LOL
A: You are not blind, they didn't post it up. It is not a SSD drive, it is a 7200 hard drive inside. PS5 games will not run from the drive, only capable of storage. You would need to transfer back and forth in order to run ps5 games.
