Q: What is the width of this TV console?

A: This product measures 52 inches in width, 15.75 inches in depth and 24 inches in height.

Q: What are the dimensions of the unit?

    A: The overall dimensions are 48" W x 16" D x 24" H.

Q: ,description says this console will fit up to a 50 in tv but under the dimentions it says its only 48 in wide ???

A: I actually received it and put it together. It is only 48" wide, but with that said it will hold a 50"tv. The base of the tv will fit just fine on top of the entertainment stand. That said, the tv screen will be just a little wider. As long as the tv stand is up against a wall, you'll be fine with it. It is actually a nice looking stand.

Q: Is it 100% Oak solid wood?

A: No it is a composite

Q: Are there hole cuts in the side storage areas for cables?

A: No, it doesn't have hole cuts in the side storage areas

    Q: Does this come assembled?

A: No. I had the Geek Squad assemble it. I would not attempt to do it myself. It was worth the money.
