Competitively Priced. Worth Every Cent.
Warning: I don't necessarily consider myself an audiophile. I buy nice equipment but I'm generally not too picky and I'm usually pretty forgiving. I have not taken these to a loud concert yet, but my preliminary testing has been impressive! I cranked my HD650s to max and listened raw, with the mid filter and with the low filter. It's almost strange. All the sound is there, but it just sounds like it's set to a lower volume. Now I know that doesn't sound impressive, but if you've used lower quality ear buds or just had a bad pair, you know it's easy to get a muffled sound. I could still hear the higher tones and lower tones and it seemed very neutral. I think these are 100% worth it, although I think most people (including probably myself) would be fine getting the $40 non-plus version, which I believe comes with the mid and full filters. Honestly those are what I'm going to be using 95% of the time. If you are looking for ear plugs and don't want to spend a few hundred to get custom molded, these would be a great spot to start and end. For those that attend concerts without earplugs currently: get SOMETHING, whether it's these or something else. Your future self will thank you. And if you do end up getting these, your experience isn't going to be downgraded in any way. You'll just hear it at a lower volume, and in some cases it might actually improve audio quality.

Best ear protection
I bought these for the Metallica consert. We used the max filter and the sound was still crips and you coild barely feel that you were wearing them. They worked perfectly.

Good, but not my favorite
I used the highest filter and they block as well as others I have. The thing I didn't like, or at least had a lot of trouble with, was the flexible tab for removing these from my ears. For me, the tabs aren't long enough and I had trouble pulling these out. Maybe there's a better way than what I was doing. With the high filter, they're as good as others I have that cost half as much and are just as comfortable. I keep these as a backup now, but they're not my primary hearing protection.
