Yes it's a 2TB drive, but for the price there other drives that cost less and are faster....This drive can be used as a Thumb drive and I have used it to view photos and videos by directly connecting it to my big Screen TV. this was great as it doesn't require power like bigger hard drives like SATA drives. this was a great add on!
