I bought this lens because I wanted the best that I could do in my price range for landscape photography. I did not have any kind of wide angle lens so after a lot of research I chose the Sigma. I have only tried it in my front yard and it seems to more then do all the things that I have hoped for. It will make a fine companion for my 28 to 300mm macro that I have in my bag.
