A: The reservoir holds up to 9 oz of liquid soap. To control the amount of soap desired, you can position your hand up close to the sensor for a little soap and farther away for more.
Q: Can you use FOAMING hand soap with this dispenser?
A: It is best to use liquid soap in the liquid dispenser. The foaming soap is for the foaming dispenser.
Q: My hand soap will not turn on?
A: Have you plugged it in to recharge? If so, have you reset the button on the back? If so, be sure you added soap. Otherwise, I hope you registered if with SimpleHuman so you can contact them for warranty.
Q: Can I buy rechargeable battery from open market. How do I replace. Where the battery go.

Q: Will this dispenser work with any brand or type of dish washing soap?
A: Yes, I use various brands of soap. Just be careful of the brands with added beads or really thick texture.
A: The simplehuman site is always sold out of the charging puck so you will not be able to use your pump at all if you lost the charger during a move like us. We went back to a manual soap dispenser and have no problems anymore. I wish I never spent $70 to realize the manual dispenser was far simpler.
