A: Yes. Only the 800 series is still made in the UK.
Q: can I use them for surround sound? is the extra $200 worth compared to B&W M1 speakers?
A: I use B&W 607's as surround speakers with 606's for the fronts, a HTM6 for the center, and two SVS SB1000 Pro subwoofers. They sound fantastic and are worth the money in my opinion.
A: Hi MikeB, The 600 Series are passive speakers. This means the require an amplifier to drive them. Phono pre-amps are extremely sensitive devices and because of this, we recommend a set-up where the phono stage is housed either within the turntable, or within the amplifier driving the speakers. Here is a link to one of our many receivers with a phono stage built-in: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/denon-avr-s660h-5-2-ch-avr-advanced-8k-upscaling-3d-audio-dolby-truehd-dtshd-master-amazon-alexa-black/6492424.p?skuId=6492424
A: The One Connect Box does not have an amplifier inside for powering loudspeakers. It is just an input box for video sources and data feeds.
Q: How tall are the 600s2 What are the diminsions
A: 11.8 x 6.5 x 8.1 inches
Q: What does “two-way”’in the description mean? Thanks
A: 2 speakers per speaker
