The BumpStepXL is an oversized trailer hitch mounted bumper protector that defends your bumper against rear end accidents, dents and scratches. Given its 24" width BumpStepXL can also be used as a step to reach the top roof of your vehicle.

A: I bought the one without the anti-theft hardware and it was on sale for 30% less than the MSRP. I bought a separate hitch lock by Masterlock to secure it.
Q: Hi, would this (XL) fit a Volkswagen Jetta 2009?
A: undefined
A: This will not fit the square receiver 'hole' in your vehicle. The Bump Step XL requires a 2" receiver and yours is 1". The reason is your vehicle has a limited towing capacity so people are not able to hook up a trailer too heavy to safely pull.
Q: Will this fit a 2019 Dodge Journey?
A: Yes as long as you have the correct size trailor hitch
Q: does this come with the bolt and washers to screw everything in?
A: The Bump Step XL ships with a bolt, flat washer, lock washer and nut, Instructions on the order of installation of these parts is included. (I'd likely add a flat washer to spread the load on both sides, but that's just my upbringing.)
A: The Bump Step XK has four hitch pin holes to provide clearance for your toes while standing on the ball of your foot. (The forward three holes in the stinger are visible in the photo.)
