A: I just got mine today and the hot water had a coffee taste to it.
A: As the directions state, you have to press and hold "clock" for 3-5 seconds, than clock will start to flash, noting that its ready to set.
Q: Does this machine have an alarm sound when it's done? If so, can you turn the sound off?

Q: I’m getting H2O code and coffee maker won’t brew?

We are sorry for the inconvenience, this could be troubleshooted by removing the charcoal filter from the tank, filling it halfway and pulling up and down repeatedly to push water into the machine. Try this with the machine being turned off, repeat the same process up to 5 times if needed and the error persists, feel free to contact our chat specialists at www.braunhousehold.com for more assistance.
Q: Do I have to use the charcoal filter, also do I have to replace the charcoal filter.
A: The manual says you do not need to use it but they recommend it. Hardness of water and chlorine content will determine filter life but we change it out every month.

Q: Can it use Keurig-style pods?
A: No it brews small batches using more economical ground coffee.
