A nice blend of history, religion, and fiction, Sleepy Hollow continues to impress in Season 2. I fell out of interest while the show was on TV due to a scheduling conflict with another of my favorite TV shows, but felt the need to purchase Season 2 to complement my Season 1 blu-ray set. Boy, am I glad I did! I binge-watched all 4 discs in one weekend. What I really love with the blu-ray set is that (at least with my player) it remembers what episode you were last on, despite what disc the episode is on. The menu design is absolutely beautiful/creative and displays all the information you'd want when searching through the episode list. Some of the episode stories/creatures are a bit far-fetched, but the main storyline (and especially John Noble's character) keeps you reeled in. The ending to season 2 makes you question "what are they gonna do now?" so I am intrigued to watch and purchase season 3 when it's released on blu-ray, too.

I've been a fan of Sleepy Hollow since the very first episode, and even got a few of my friends interested in it as well. Happy to have the second season on DVD now. This sophomore season did seem to have a bit of a slump, with more rehashing of past stuff than I would have expected, especially considering the break-neck pace of the first season and the increased episode count of this season. There was also a huge amount of focus on Katrina and Henry--a bit too much focus, most likely. Zombie Andy Brooks (John Cho) disappeared after the first episode (due to conflicts with his short-lived series "Selfie"). But even with the issues, I still really enjoyed this season.

I have not watched all of the episodes yet. I love this program. The bits of history are interesting. The added little items about historical figures are fun even knowing they are made up. (Maybe, who really knows.) The stories really keep my attention and the interaction of Crane and Lt. Mills is fun. What an imagination the writers of the stories have! I have a hard time stopping at the end of an episode. I just can wait to see what happens in the next one.

This TV series isn't for everyone. My husband and I enjoy this series thanks to our adult daughter introducing us to it. However, I know a lot of people who would not like or understand this series. You must watch the series from episode one in order to understand what happens from week to week. This series is not for the faint of heart, if you like macabre and history then you would probably like this series.

Ever since I watched the first episode, I was hooked on this show. Yes, it does have modern twist but it is still good. At times, it is like watching an episode of Fringe, Supernatural, or the X-Files that shows a monster or another being and they have to find a way to kill it and save the townspeople. There are also some good plot twists but I will not go into detail and spoil it for those who haven't started the series yet.

Season one was a surprise hit, and I really enjoyed the update of the legend into 21st century life. Season two finds itself in a nice routine, picking up the pieces of the season finale last year. This season is not as good as the first, but the characters (the interaction between Ichabod and Abbie is still out-of-this-world fantastic) and the occasional twists are worth the involvement. Recommended if you are a fan of the series.

There's a lot that went wrong with Sleepy Hollow's second season — Katrina and Henry mostly; Hawley to a degree, but he's not nearly as horrible as some say; even Abby got pushed aside for the aforementioned Katrina and Henry. But the show still had standout episodes and the wonderful chemistry between stars Tom Mison and Nicole Beharie as Ichabod and Abby. Those two alone earn the show an extra star.

Once you're hooked by the first couple of episodes from the first season, you will find yourself binge watching the second season. And, #2 does not disappoint. The mysteries become darker and more threatening, and ingenious points of reference of our lead character and how he views our world only gets better, and better. Once again, I love the world Sleepy Hollow has created.
