Simple, clean and functional design.
This cover, while minimal in appearance, is very functional in protecting the screen of my iPad Mini. I wish there are more color choices, however.

Apple Smart Cover
The Apple Smart Cover is ok, but it attaches magnetically and comes off on occasion, but other than that it is okay.

Protection Without the Bulk
The reason we bought the iPad Mini 2 was portability and the Apple Smart Cover added needed protection without unnecessary bulk. The slim size did not make the thin iPad much wider and they easily fit into my wife's purse without extra weight. It forms a very useable stand for reading and the iPad automatically goes to sleep when the cover is closed increasing battery life. It is the perfect compliment for the thin elegant iPad Mini 2.
