Bloody-Good B Movie Fun
Smash Cut is very much a throw back to old Herschell Gordon Lewis movies such as Gore Gore Girls. It has a fun premise and some 80's style horror effects and a genuine campiness to it that really delivers. Keep in mind this movie isn't supposed to be revolutionary or ground-breaking; it is however pure fun for any horror fans. Fans of Sasha Grey may want to check this out for her alone but she does a standard acting job for the most part. Michael Berryman and especially David Hess add to the fun. David Hess of American Werewolf in London fame is the real gem in this flick.
