Good movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really enjoyed this origin story for Robin in the Batman Universe. at first I didn't know if it was a great idea seeing Batman with a son, but I enjoyed it. It makes sense when you watch it, so I would suggest you watch this. there are reviews out there that are not so favorable, but I chose not to let that sway my opinion, and I'm happy for that. Definitely recommend.

For Batman fans!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To start off with this is not loosely based off the comic of the same name. Which is good if you never read it, for you will not feel left in the dark. The acting is great, Jason O'Mara from Justice League: War returns. A great cast of well known DC characters appear like Ra's al-Ghul, Talia, Ubu, Deathstroke, Alfred, Nightwing, Killer Croc and Dr. Kirk Langstrom. Animation is stellar and the action is so much fun, great fight scenes and violent. Beware parents, with regards to the violence which is mainly a burn scene and some blood loss here and there. In addition, is the language with words like "b*st*rd" and "sp*rm donor". It seems DC wants to be edgy. I don't care, but I don't know if that's a good thing or not. Yes, the character development for Damian is lacking as to why he does why he does and makes the decision he does at the end. It was suspected but why? Special features talks about both Damian and the League of Assassins, good for comic fans, 2 episodes from Batman: TAS and Batman: Brave and the Bold are offered as well. A sneak peak at Arkham Assault. Finally, DC's technical content. Last time they showed "pencil tests" for JL: War which was an over-glorified story board. This time they offer rough sketches of the character designs with commentary. Better, but they are the designs straight from the movie, not designs that weren't used. Interesting at best, but a full length commentary on the film would have been better.

Son of Batman is a boy to be proud of
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Son of Batman follows Batman's discovery of his heretofore unknown son. Years ago, after a brief romance with the daughter of Ra's Al-Ghul, Batman became a father but his son was raised in secret, groomed to take over the League of Assassins. That all changed following a coup and the boy is sent to Gotham City to live with his father. Batman's son, Damian, is no ordinary child, he is a trained killer who wants blood! The movie is very good with great action and several laughs but suffers for an unlikeable character in Damian and weak dialogue. The comic series from which it was based, Batman and Son, also presented Damian as unlikeable at first but he grew overtime. Hopefully the film version is given the chance to grow on me too.

Another great animated Batman story
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.2014 marks the 75th anniversary of the Batman character, and while Warner Bros. and DC Comics didn't release any live action movie, they did deliver one of two Animated Movies. The first one Son Of Batman is based off the story arc Batman and Son from the comic books were Talia al Ghul reveals to Batman they have a son together. This marks the second time that Damian Wayne has been adapted into another media and this one is more faithful. Bruce Timm and company brings this movie to you and they have a great track record with the DC Universe Animated Original Movies line. If your'e a fan of Batman, Damian Wayne, or even Deathstroke I highly recommend this movie. However this is not a straight up adaptation of Batman and Son and elements of the story have been change.
