    • Amplifier Class: D (An amplifier's mode of operation, specifically the conditions in which its electrical current flows for the duration of an audio signal, determines its class. Each class has its strengths and weaknesses when it comes to power efficiency, levels of crossover distortion, and overall sound quality.)
    • Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR): 102 decibels (The ratio of the desired signal's strength to the level of background noise. A ratio higher than 1:1, which equates to greater than 0 decibels, indicates more signal than noise.)

Q: How do I install and program Sonance - Sonamp 1500W 2.0-Ch. DSP Power Amplifier - Black

A: Hi Olaf, I believe that the amplifier you're asking about is our model DSP 2-750. Installation is very straightforward with analog inputs and traditional left/right speaker connections. It's unique in that it operates in both 70 volt (750 watts times 2 channels) and 8 ohm (500 watts times 2 channels). It ships in 70 volt mode as it's most often used with our Landscape Series outdoor speaker system. The change to 8 ohm mode is done via our software set up. There is also an optional Digital Input Module (DIM $150) that allows direct connection digital sources. I hope this is helpful, and thanks for asking.
