Q: how does wifi extender work?
A: As long as the Boost or at least one Sonos speaker is hardwired to your network it will create it's own wireless mesh network that allows all speakers to talk to one another.
Q: How do I connect this to my router? There were no instructions.
A: Use the Ethernet cable provided and attached it that way. So, your boast will need to be near your router.
