A: Thank you for you question. You can pair Sonos Ones together regardless of Gen1 or Gen2.
A: This is for the Gen 1. Both Gen1 and 2 have AirPlay. The differences are mainly hardware related, the speaker itself looks and sounds the same. Gen2 has more memory to potentially support yet to be named or decided features. Functionally they are exactly the same at this time.
