Q: Is this considered an OLED TV?
A: No, This is not an OLED TV. It is an 8K flagship master series TV. The largest OLED is currently 77 inches. I had the Sony OLED and this one is much brighter and has a superior picture, in spite of how good the OLED was.
A: Yes, this TV has HDMI 2.1.
Q: At this price why isn’t it an OLED?
A: This is actually a better picture them OLED. While it can't match the black levels of an old, thanks to its master drive backlight unit, it is capable of producing 5x the brightness of an OLED. This is becoming very important with new dooby vision content which is mastered to 4000 nits. For perspective, an LG C9 oled can only output 750 nits, far lower then what the source material assumes.
Q: How wide of a tv stand do you need for this tv
A: The Stand width states 61 inches wide. so I would make sure my tv stand is at least 62" wide. The TV will overhang from the sides abit.
A: There are currently no 8K Home Video or Camcorders on the Market. There is no 8K Content except for a few Youtube Videos. This TV will up process 4k into 8k so technically it should look a bit better than on a comparable sized 4K TV.
Q: Is the Sony f master series better than the g master series?
A: The G series is better than the new H Series because the Backlight Master Drive System.
