I purchased the Firewall Zero Hour PlayStation VR aim controller bundle new. The aim controller works great. The game Firewall Zero Hour that is in the bundle has been on many of the top/best multiplayer PlayStation VR game lists out there up to this point in early 2021.
More on the controller:
The PlayStation VR aim controller is to be used with the PlayStation 4 camera for tracking. When the controller is powered on the sphere on the end of the controller lights up to be tracked by the camera. As of the release of the PlayStation 5 there is an adapter that can be gotten separately and used to make the PlayStation 4 camera work with the PlayStation 5 for supported PS4 VR games.

Farpoint was AMAZING!!! with the aim controller. It’s exactly what I bought it for at a good price. Any new controller is $60ish anyway. Could have been a lot more.

I really like this game and would recommend it if you have a PSVR. For people who use reviews to learn what the game is all about, let me explain. No, there is too much, let me sum up.
At time of this review, since the game is still less than a week old, there is still only one game mode: online 4v4 attacking or defending a laptop, 5 minute rounds. If you die, you don’t technically respawn. However, you remain in the game by cycling through the map’s security cameras. I really like this! You stay in the game and can give the surviving players directions and locations of the laptop, enemies, etc. You stay actively involved with the game if you’re communicating with your team members. Being dead can sometimes be more helpful than being alive!
You don’t NEED to talk during the matches, but the best experiences I have had are when I’m talking with the guys on my team in the lobby and then during the rounds. It’s really fun and you build a sense of loyalty and teamwork if you’re talking. It has also been a much better atmosphere than other games, so don’t come into it with a bad attitude! This community is better than other toxic online games.
I believe the developers already issued a patch for some initial complaints and problems, so it’s nice to see they didn’t just launch the game and run away. Hopefully as the player base grows, the game will get continually improved and more game modes will be added. It’s not a perfect game, but because this game is basically a pioneer in this genre, I think they’ll pay close attention to the feedback.
I haven’t played it with the DualShock controller, and I don’t intend to. It seems like it would be awkward and the aim controller already works great. I’m glad I got the bundle since I didn’t already have the aim controller. It tracks great and the controls are good once you get used to them.
I’d hate to see this game get bad reviews if people buy it and expect a campaign or deathmatch modes or don’t understand what the game actually is at this stage. For what this game offers, it is a lot of fun and is an awesome game. I’m definitely glad I got it!

I bought the bundle (AIM controller + Firewall Zero Hour). It has been a very unproductive weekend since then. In terms of homework that is. This game is very addictive.
For starters, the AIM controller is very well adapted for this game and adds greatly to the immersion. Once you don the headset and are in game you may start moving physically while turning with your weapon drawn. I had to train myself not to do that. You can shut an eye and look down the sites and take out Tangos. You can level up and acquire laser sites and paint Tangos. You can put your hand around the corner and shoot blindly and take out Tangos. This game is really good.
When you start, there are default loadouts and characters. Leveling up unlocks more characters and earns you "in game currency" that can be used to purchase more weapons and add-ons. You can buddy up with friends easily by adding them through invitations in game (top right of your screen next to your PSN avatar). You can play solo training and earn xp, Player vs AI co-op or go to the ranked matches in the "Public" arena.
As of this review, there is only 1 game mode because the creators do not want to thin out the population. It entails hacking a laptop (essentially search and destroy). One team defends the laptop and the other team attacks.
Cons: Tracking issues occur occasionally. Give the AIM a good shake (you can also play with the dualshock 4 but I have not tried it).
If the Host leaves before the game is over you lose all XP earned. After each round, you go back to the room to fix loadouts and characters (not really a con in my opinion but time consuming for some).
You have to grind a bit to level up. This is a con for some. Especially when you meet "week one" players that have all the gadgets. Good team work is required in cases like this.
Overall, I have not had this much fun on a FPS in a long while. PSVR makes it so immersive and the creators mechanics are on point. The gameplay mechanics really make this game.

This Aim Controller for the PSVR is so awesome to use in the games that are compatible!! It gives you a completely different/better experience while using the VR system!! Its really accurate when using the ADS (aim down sight) in whatever game your playing and is very lightweight.
As for the the game, Horizon Zero Hour, itself, it's so awesome/fun to play. Between using the Aim Controller and the VR it literallymakes you feel like your one in the game playing! It's so awesome/fun to use!!
I'd highly recommend this bundle to anyone and everyone who likes playing 1st person shooter games and has a PSVR system!
And Best Buy by far had the best price for the bundle, that could find, then anyone else at the time when i purchased it.

The controller is fun to use with the PSVR for games such as Doom VFR, Borderlands 2 VR, and several other FPS games. In my opinion these games are best played with this controller. I feel the price is a bit high due to the limited amount of games it works with. For the PS3 move they had a similar device that I used for games like Resident Evil 5 but it was a plastic gun shell and you inserted the move controller and the navigation controller. It had only one analog stick from the navigation move controller but it worked perfectly for me. I feel we should have had the same option for the PSVR since using the navigation controller would have helped a lot in almost all the games since the standard is using two move controllers with no analog.

The aim controller is a must have for any Playtstation VR gamer that enjoys FPS. The controller feels great in your hands and has excellent tracking, heightening any experience where you are using a double handed gun... The combination of the aim controller and Firewall is a match made in heaven. Get ready to put multiple, multiple hours into this game shooting your way through various maps in public contracts
A:No you cannot. Theoretically it could be done I suppose, but there are currently no games on the market that support the aim controller in a non vr mode.
A:Unfortunately there are a bunch of shooting games that this aim controller is not used in. If you Google ps4 aim controller compatible games you will see a list of games that were designed with the aim in mind. I think there we I'll be more games released for the controller even with PS5 being out there now...sorta...
A:YES it will work with the PS5 but read ahead to know the *requirements*. That is how I have been using it. I purchased the PSVR for the first time recently and the newer PSVR bundles will include an adaptor that is needed to connect the PS4 camera to the PS5. If you look at the PSVR box it will say compatible with the PS5 in small print on the box in several spots. The contents will also indicate it includes a camera adaptor. If you already own a PSVR you can request a free adaptor directly from Sony. They have a website to do this since you can't buy the adaptor this is the only way to get it to work on the PS5 unless you buy a newer PSVR bundle that indicates it has an adaptor. I hope this helped. Have fun and take care!
A:Im sure you are aware by this point, but yes an online PS+ membership is required to play the game. Though there is a small single player Training mode, the whole game is basically a 4v4 online game
