Q: What is the range (in feet) of this speaker from original Bluetooth device?
A: Hello, thank you for your message. A power-class 2 Bluetooth® wireless device has a transmission operating range of approximately 30 feet (10 meters) within a line of sight but will vary depending on the surrounding conditions. NOTE: Communication range will vary according to whether walls or other obstacles are located between the devices, the material used in the intervening walls, the presence of Radio Frequency (RF) interference and other environmental conditions, and the type of software being used, if applicable. -Oscar.
Q: Loudness
A: For the size and the price it sounds great, however it is so small don't expect to have a party or dance off, it more for background music or personal listening. It also works great for watching a movie on your laptop or tablet. If is great if you live in a condo or apartment and you don't want to get a letter from the HOA or management company for volume.
Q: My dad has a hearing aid and is looking for a way to hear the phone better
A: Yes, he will and can be able to speak and listen to the speaker.
A: Hi , there are two ways to listening music of a device 1- using the audio out Jack on the SRSX3 or 2-using the Bluetooth function, these are the Bluetooth profiles that the unit is compatible with A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile). A: I thought about this when I purchased two of them together because they were on such a great deal. I got one for my wife. I forgot about trying it until I read your post. I tried it on my macbook unsuccessfully today. I was able to pair both of the exact same units, however sound only comes out of one of them, the first one that was paired. Was a cool idea! I know there are other types of speaker systems that you can use bluetooth to do this with multiple speakers, however they all have a main unit to pair them all through. From my research online the reason is one of security. Bluetooth was created on the platform of being able to not have any other device retrieve the data being sent. As cool as this idea is to have multiple speakers wirelessly running at the same time, it would go against the initial purpose of bluetooth. I am sure in the future we will have more than one bluetooth's on devices, since we are going more & more wireless with tech. Keep in mind you generally have a 14 day return policy at Best Buy, so try it if you can. Please respond to this post if you are successful in doing so!
