A: Yes it does and some pans too. I'm alone so I don't have a lot of dishes so I can fit some pans as well. This dishwasher works great. I absolutely love it. My kitchen counter is small so I have it on a cart and simply roll it over to the sink. Fits on the counter just fine but it took up too much of my work area so I bought a stainless cart an it worked out beautifully.
Q: Does this unit have a retractable hose? Also, is this the top of the line unit like this for SPT?
A: The SPT 2225 is as of 2019 the best countertop DW from SPT. This is the 2224, which is functionally almost identical. The hoses do not retract.
Q: Does it work on faucets other then a regular faucet or are there adapters to fit other faucets
A: The quick connect hoses will connect to the adapter. The adapter screws into a American Standard Faucet. Most all homes have this type of faucet. If you have a pull down faucet, it will not work. No adapter is made.
Q: Does this heat the water to a higher temperature than your water heater?
A: Yes it will. The manual will explain what degree the water heats up to. Different cycles will heat water at different temperatures. Refer to the user guide for details.

A: Residual heating is when dishes are dried with the heat that has been formed during wash cycles. This is one of the best ways to dry dishes because it avoids the use of air from outside the dishwasher. Heat drying is when a heating element is used to dry dishes.
Q: Can you leave the hose attached and still get water from the faucet
A: The pressure release button on the quick connect will release water from the faucet when dishwasher is in use. This red button is mainly used to release water pressure from the hose before disconnecting from the faucet.

Easy install, bring channel locks
Super easy to figure out. Washes really well and enough space to clean even the strangest object. Neat how it connects to the sink!

Great purchase. BestBuy customer care, not so much
Why didn't I purchase this years ago? I have been a renting for the last three years. I had been toying with purchasing a compact washer all that time. Now that I have this, I cannot believe it took me this long. It works like a champ. I have read reviews that complain about it not cleaning after a short period of use. Not here. I have zero concerns. Everything I have asked it to clean it has done well. There are other reviews complaining about leaking. Not issues here. Hoses securely attached and no leaks. It is a little large then I expected (make sure you measure and recognize this before purchasing), but it makes up for its size in the amount of dishes it holds. If my cupboards were 1/32th of an inch higher, it would slide back quite nicely out of the way. My only complaint was it arrived dented. In conversation, with BestBuy, I was requested to return it in its original packaging. A nearly impossible task as the packaging was significantly difficult to remove, let alone reconstruct. Then I was to either arrange a pick-up or bring it to a store. I decided the dent on the side was not visible and it did not interfere with performance. I would have been happy to just get GeekSquad coverage for it in case, but that was not an accepted option. Come on, BestBuy, you can do better than that, no?

Love it, but heads-up about extra connection parts
It was bigger than I expected but still fits in my studio at the beach. It is really quiet and cleans well. The handyman I hired had to go to the hardware store to get different hook ups for under the sink instead of from the faucet, since I want a more permnant hassle free press the button and it's going situation.
