Q: Can you purchase a paper disposable filter to be used with this vacuum?
A: For the 1 gallon theres no room for a bag therefore it only uses the reusable filter which is the blue cloth filter over the foam filter for dry, and for wet you remove the blue cloth filter and use the foam filter.
A: YES,it is 12V (and comes standard with a 12V car cigarette lighter adapter plug!) IDK why the other person said it's 120V..?.. Since THIS IS A 12VDC Wet/Dry Vacuum; If U look closely at the product picture for this Stanley Wet/dry vac..., U can see that the power cord has a DC Car "Cigarette Lighter" type adapter!
