The Apex 7 TKL - Ghost keyboard has mechanical switches that guarantee 50 million keypresses using linear red switches for smooth movement from top to bottom without any bump, allowing for lightning-fast actuation. An integrated OLED Smart Display with on-board storage, double shot PBT pudding keycaps and an unbreakable aluminum alloy frame make it a standout mechanical gaming keyboard.
Q: Can you buy this keyboard with brown switches?
A: Yes but that one is only at Steelseries.com
Q: How do you take out the switches in this so you can lube them?
A: The switches are not hot swappable, and needs to be desoldered in order to lube them, or it can be done with a small brush on the top side of the switch, without desoldering... Hope this helps!
Q: Are the letters carved into the keys and does heavy finger sweat make the keys' letters fade away?
A: They are etched into the keys so they will not fade away.
Q: How fast is it compare to the apex pro?
A: They are both equally fast. The thing with the apex pro tkl is that they have Omnipoint adjustable switches. In other words the fastest swicthes for gaming. The apex pro 7 tkl doesnt have that but regardless will still improve your gaming. It's also not as pricy as the apex pro tkl. I recommend waiting for that apex pro tkl to restock.
Q: Does this keyboard work with razers pbt custom keycaps?
A: Yes it dose do not listen to them I have them
A: Hi! The keycaps can be pulled, but the switches themselves cannot be moved or adjusted.
Q: What is the difference between this keyboard the and Pro version, besides the $50 difference?
A: Pro allows you to set the feedback pressure required to "press" the key. I was planning to buy the pro as well, but for the money I wasn't going to use that feature enough to make it worth it.
Q: will the gmnk polychroma pbt key caps fit on this keybpard?
A: undefined

It Dosen't get any better than this. I've owned other gaming keyboards and this one blows all of them away. Everything about this keyboard is Perfect. The key strokes are smooth and not overly loud. The smaller TKL fit's my desk to perfection. The overall build is 100% Strong SteelSeries Quality. The LCD is a bit gimmicky but you can set up so many options along with using Spotify. And let's not forget the Very Cool RGB lighting that concluded my Grand Steel Series Finale.

My gaming experience has greatly improved, and though the red switches are linear and more inclined for gaming, This keyboard is also great for typing. This is a great keyboard f you want something on the compact side with a variety of customizable options. I spent a little time getting used to the software, but it was rather easy to get the hang of. I set up 3 new light configurations, replaced the stock keycaps with HyperX Double Shot PBT pudding caps, and now have a beautiful display and feel.
