Something Rubs Against My Ears in the Cups
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.Outstanding headset with one big flaw, and that being some kind of notch on the inside of the earcups that rubs against my ears. I think it has something to do with noise cancellation. That is about the only issue I have with the headset. They sound much better than the previous model (which still sound good). The mic performance is excellent when it comes to discord and phone calls. There's tons of background noise where i work and the mic cancels it all out. The build quality is much better than the previous model. The previous model that I have is somewhat falling apart. Ultimately, a great headset that I have to return due to the comfort problem. Whatever that thing inside the ear cups that rubs against my ears is a no go for me and is very uncomfortable. I have the previous ones and there's still some life in them so I'll use those until I find something better, the next model comes out. I found a video that shows what I described. I made a screenshot of it.

Simply the Best
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.LOVE them! I have had tons of high end gaming heasets. I currently have about 6. Now I only use these. Really not sure why people are giving these anything but 5 stars. My guess is they haven't had many other high end sets to compare them to. These are, without question, the best I have ever had for sure.

Nothing comes close for PS5
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I tested this personally over a weekend against the Bang & Olufsen Beoplay, SteelSeries 7P, EPOS H3Pro Hybrid, Corsair Virtuoso XT, and my current Astro A50. No contest; the Nova Pro is truly unrivaled. My goal was to find something to replace the Astro A50 gen 4 because of the cumbersome nature of hooking to a PS5 that is using a 120hz TV. Long story short you have to run an optical cable for. The TV to the base station. Even then it frequently disconnects and you constantly have to unplug and plug the usb into the base station. I’ve struggled to find anything comparable audio-wise to the Astro’s for a while, but recently purchased multiple headsets to compare for my friends and myself. At the end of a weekend of testing, without getting too technical, the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro won. The out of the box flat audio profile is a step up from the custom EQ I was using on the Astro’s and it was also the most comfortable of all the headsets mentioned. It’s extremely light and fits wonderfully. To hook up you just plug the included DAC into the PS5 and turn the headset on. Bingo. Done. No custom EQ needed, sounds perfect out of the box using the flat profile. Texting was initially done in Warzone with the Boost High profile in the game. Subsequent testing was done in Persona 5, Cyberpunk 2077, and Gran Turismo 7. The headset sounds absolutely incredible, honestly. The Bluetooth is seamless as well. Once paired, if you’re in a game you can listen to anything from a connected device on top of the game audio. A feature I’ve been wanting for a while. Great for when browsing around between games. Also, if you receive a call you’ll hear a faint beeping sound that is very easy on the ears. Game and chat audio is muted when you answer or make a call. The DAC included is awesome. Every option can be controlled from it seamlessly, without the need for connecting to a PC. In a league of its own here. The ANC is ok, not amazing or anything. However, when activated, the side tone of your mic sounds absolutely incredible. It’s like hearing yourself speak without a headset on. It makes it extremely comfortable to have conversation during games etc.. hard to explain but the side tone is in a league of its own compared to the other headsets tested here. In closing, this was easily chosen out of the $200-$500 group as the top choice. Worth every penny.

Outstanding software makes up for decent sound
||Posted .These are by far the best steelseries headphones I have owned. Now that being said I have owned over 10 pairs of headphones I'm very picky with my audio. These are a great gaming headset. They are not however a hi-fi headset as implied in the marketing. That doesn't mean they aren't good. Pros. Good audio for gaming casual listening Light weight Extremely comfortable Good range Best software in the business. Cons Not hi-fi in the wireless version only 48kz and it can only go to 16khz when you use the sonar software. ( Which is arguably the best reason to get these headphones) Bluetooth doesn't auto turn off when you power down headset ( make sure you turn it off after) Overall these are a great gaming headset with good audio quality. The software makes it shine by far. I think these will be my daily use for gaming and my audeze Penrose will be for my hi-fi audio needs.

Comfortable and Amazing Sound
||Posted .I am a big guy with a big melon, always have issues with headphones hurting my head. I have the EPOS 670s, Arctis Pros, MG20s and B&O Portals. I actually forgot I had these on after a 2 hr gaming run, never happened with the beforementioned. Very light and comfortable. The sound is incredible, I first tried it with music and was stunned how well they performed compared the the Pros. Gaming is another level. You will not be disappointed. No bluetooth issues here, I saw on a couple reviews on the web people had problems, when I connected there was an update for bluetooth, maybe it fixed it.

Can't Go Wrong
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I've been using SteelSeries headsets for a little while now and I'm not disappointed with the Arctis Nova Pro. Yes the price tag is a little high but I was tired of being worried about how much battery is left. With this headset you always have an extra battery on stand by and it shows you how much battery life you have left in the headset. Customizing your audio through the Sonar Audio System is very easy. The Arctis Nova Pro headset sits on my head better then any previous ones I've used before (Razer, Turtle Beach, Corsair) and the ear cushions are very cozy. I was a little worried about the price at first but in my opinion it was well worth the money and I'm very happy with them!

Great sound after some tweaks
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Hands down the best headset I’ve ever had. Definitely needs tweaking out of the box but wow, once you do, these things are punchy and crisp. Pretty comfortable but could have deeper ear cushions and I hope we get some modded ones eventually. The ANS mics stick out a little too far and I’m guessing if you have big ears it might bother you, doesn’t happen to me but I see what people are talking about.

Q: QuestionWill these work with my PS5 and my Xbox Series X?
Asked by Geminicrickit.
- A:Answer To clarify one of the answers. The PS5 version works with everything except Xbox. The Xbox version works for all platforms including PS5 and PC. Not sure why someone said the Xbox version doesn't work with PC.
