5-in-1 Insect & Mosquito Zapper

I ordered this bug zapper from bestbuy.com about 3 weeks ago. There were no reviews available at the time. I can't say that I'm too happy with the product after using it for a while. I followed the guidelines as to the height and distance the zapper should be placed, and also attached the mosquito lure pad, but I'm still getting bit by lots of mosquitoes! I've never owned a bug zapper before, so I wasn't sure on what to expect for its performance. I use it at my camp and turn it on in the late afternoon, and then turn it off when I'm done for the night. It does kill insects and mosquitoes and it is very quiet to use. You will usually just see just a spark on the grid when a bug is zapped. No loud electrocution noise! I can't say that I would recommend this product to other people, but depending on your situation, it may work better for you than it does for me.

I only turn on days we are going to be in back yard. I have it rather close to back patio, which is not recommended as per instructions but has worked very well for me thus far. Not a bad small investment to repell fly's and mosquitoes

This item is lightweight Hangs from anywhere covers a large area and does the job

I use this zapper in a yard with mangroves ajacent to it, it really reduces the mosquito population and, after a while, I think it will start to break the breeding cycle. Its been chugging along a few months with zero problems.

Replaced a smaller zapper, different brand lasted 2 months, so I bought the larger zapper and it works great for the last 3 months. Also has a dusk to dawn feature that saves money. I would buy again.

Definitely attracts and kills mosquitoes and moths. I leave mine up, it has dusk to dawn setting. I need to clean mine weekly because all the bugs it kills.
