GREAT COLD WAR EPIC
The movie is about the career of a baseball player who is
brought back to Serve out the remainder of his career in
the Strategic Air Command during the Cold War. It shows
the sacrifices of those who served and their fanilies. It
also provides footage of actual Air Force aircraft,
especially the B-36 bomber.
There are no bonus features only English subtitles.
I am impressed with the Blu-Ray version of SAC.
My grandson is flying in the Civil Air Patrol and he really liked it.
In fact he was able to name a number of the non-bomber plane models.
The sky scenes from the bombers was thrilling. We recommend this movie.
This is another one of those fifties military movies which looked great in blu-ray format. It stars Jimmy Stewart and has some fantastic flying scenes with the B-36 and B-47 bombers. If you like military movies you will want to add this to your collection.
