A great portable RPG, but an average Suikoden game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Suikoden Tierkreis is a spin-off of the main line of Suikoden console games. While the story is not connected to previous games, it features the staples of the series: political intrigue, recruiting up to 108 characters, building a castle and forming an army. Unfortunately, Tierkries lacks many of the little extras that made the recruitment aspect so great: you can only take 3 other characters into battle at a time, there are no large-scale army battles, and a lack of minigames. Despite being a somewhat watered-down Suikoden game, it's still a very solid RPG, offering a good, lengthy story and some of the most beautiful music and art on the DS.
