Q: Is there a holder included and can it hold my phone vertically and horizontally?
A: Yes, there is a holder but the quality is not good. Mine cracked after a few days and I had to buy a new one.
Q: will this work with a logi webcam?
A: If the webcam has a 1/4-20 female thread on the bottom it will.
A: I just tested it with an old 35mm SLR with big zoom lens which weighs a little more than 2lbs total. I put the legs in spread position and it was steady on a table top.
Q: Will I need to purchase an additional mount to use a smartphone?
A: No. It has an adjustable holder included.
Q: Will this hold a canon t5i?
A: It works perfectly on my canon t6. It has to work in the t5i

Q: Will this work with an iPhone X?
A: Yes, as long as you have a cell phone mount to attach to it.
Q: Can you use it for a projector?
A: I've attached my digital camera and binoculars to it. I thing it's fairly universal.
