Watching Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers in one of their greatest musicals is an unforgettable memory of the very best in movie-making gone by....a romantic comedy, witty dialogue, and the very happy ending, added to their awesome dancing captured forever in pristine black and white on the silvery screen.
The is nothing today on screen that can recreate the wonder and professionalism of sctor-dancers such as Astaire, Rogers, Gene Kelly, Leslie Caron, Cyd Charisse, Donald O'Connor et al.
Thank God for DVDs that keep beautifully preserve these fabulous silver screen masterpieces and keep them alive for many future generations to enjoy.
