A: No It chooses for you
Q: I have several grandchildren. Can I get different pets and case colors for each?
A: The case colors are random when ordered from bby but possibly if ordered directly from tamagotchi you could choose. As for the pets they are random and will die and hatch into different pets frequently. Just a tip though, the pet WILL DIE and your grandkids will likely cry, I learned the hard way with my sister.
Q: Does this version have a sensor at the top to allow for tamagotchis to visit each other?
A: Unfortunately no, I believe that’s only on the newest generation with the color screens. This is basically just a remake of the original game.
