Q: Not sure right case for Apple mini ipad?

A: I did not use the foam and the IPad mini fits perfectly. It does fit snugly but that is good so there is no chance of the IPad slipping out

Q: I PUT THE IPAD IN BACKWARDS. HOW DO I REMOVE IT FROM CASE?

A: Try getting the corner that has the gap for the headphone jack to release form the iPad by pushing your thumb against the edge of the plastic away from the iPad while pushing a little on the iPad from the back with another finger in the slot for the headphones and it should start to slide out or at least begin to so you can free it the rest of the way.

Q: Box says it has a "sleep/wake magnet". No explanation of what it is or its purpose. Anyone know?

A: I agree! That is my only complaint. It does not appear to have the sleep magnet so power is still on.

Good protective case for iPad Mini 2
Pros: -Hard plastic shell protects iPad on all sides and corners. Openings for speakers, headphone jack & iPad controls are perfectly placed on shell. Moreover, there's an opening for the rear camera. -Mini w/ Retina Display snaps & fits perfectly into shell, and keep iPad securely in place. -Slim design & not bulky at all. Inside of case is soft & not abrasive on iPad screen. -Cord keeps cover closed when not in use. -Back of case rotates so you can view iPad in vertical & horizontal position. Cons: -Grooves are too shallow. Press on screen hard enough & iPad will collapse on its back. Grooves does not securely hold Mini in position. -When in vertical position, last 2 grooves are not usable because Mini will fall back on its back. -No position for typing mode. -No hand strap

The ease of the design is great
I wanted a cover that was lightweight and that would cover my mini front and back. I found the Targus Versavu Slim 2 Case was just perfect for me. Has 4 grooves and my pad can either be vertical for reading or horizontal for games. The only problem I had was choosing purple or red. After 10 minutes of debate , the fiery red won my heart! If ii had to go looking for a good quality cover, I would choose another Targus Versavu Slim 2 Case!
