Connecting Google Chromecast to your TV.
- Plug your Chromecast into the HDMI port on your TV.
- For a power source, connect your Chromecast to the TV's USB port with the included USB cable, or plug it into an outlet with the included power adapter.
- Switch your TV's input to the HDMI port you plugged into, and you'll see the Chromecast setup screen.
Connecting your compatible device to Chromecast.
Download the Chromecast app on your Android or iOS mobile device or laptop at www.google.com/chromecast/setup. The app will walk you through how to connect your Chromecast to your Wi-Fi network.
Using your mobile device or laptop with Chromecast.
Once you've set up your Chromecast and mobile device or laptop, you can start casting your favorite movies, music, games and more to your TV.
From the navigation drawer of the Chromecast App, select the Cast Screen button and then select Chromecast and the content will appear on your TV.
While content is casting, you can still use your mobile device or laptop for other things, like checking e-mail or playing games. Just switch back to the Chromecast app any time you want to control the media you are casting to your TV.
